Single Sign-On

Web applications from different vendors are developed independently. Each application has its own database of user credentials. Because of that, users need to remember and manage different passwords in each application they use.

Single Sign-On (SSO) allows independent applications to have a single transparent login for the user. After logging in once, users never have to enter their credentials again because the system will automatically log them in to all applications which accept the SSO standard. The SSO standard is another technology developed by SWsoft as a part of the OPEN FUSION initiative.
